Weir appoints new president of Pressure Pumping business

Weir Oil & Gas has hired David Paterson as president of Pressure Pumping.

Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Paterson will lead and manage Weir’s Pressure Pumping business, overseeing the strategic direction of all global operations, manufacturing and service footprint.

Paterson has more than two decades of experience in the oil and gas sector. Prior to joining Weir, Paterson was president, Artificial Lift at Schlumberger since 2016.

We are confident that he will guide our pressure pumping business to further success.”

Paterson holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Offshore Engineering from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.
