Andritz has secured an order to supply a PrimeLine™ W6-XT tissue machine, including stock preparation, automation and electrification, for Arkhbum Tissue Group LLC’s mill in Vorsino, Russia.
The machine will produce high-quality facial, toilet, napkin and kitchen towel grades made of 100% virgin pulp.
Start-up is scheduled for the third quarter of 2019.
The new PrimeLine W6-XT tissue machine is equipped with a PrimePress XT shoe press, an Andritz Papillon refiner and an Andritz ShortFlow system. The drying section of the machine has a ReEvaporation system which uses the waste heat in the hood exhaust to recover steam from the condensate stream.
Andritz will also provide process pumps, piping and instrumentation as well as on-site services.
