The position has been created to enable Atlas Copco to drive innovation and develop business opportunities within the pump industry.
“Along with compressors, generators and light towers, pumps is one of the pillars of our Portable Energy Division,” explained Norbert Paprocki, president of Atlas Copco Portable Energy. “The creation of the vice president role to focus exclusively on pumps, shows the value we attach to the segment and the opportunities we see for growth in this exciting sector.”
Per Rehn has almost two decades of international experience in the pump industry.
“With Per’s knowledge and expertise in the pump business, we are convinced that we have the right team in place to offer and develop the best solutions for our customers’ dewatering requirements. The recent launch of the PAS diesel driven pumps is just one example of how we intend to lead the industry,” said Paprocki. “We are looking forward to seeing Per’s successes continue in his new role.”
