The new, self-priming close-coupled Filtra N pumps from KSB can recirculate up to 36 m3 of swimming pool water in an hour and the maximum head is around 21 m. The shaft of the Filtra N pump is not in contact with the fluid handled, as the impeller fully encases the shaft end and is directly screwed to the shaft rather than being fastened with a screw outside the impeller, which could corrode and lead to the impeller becoming loose.
The Filtra N pump's new shaft material has enhanced electromagnetic properties which reduce the energy input of the low-noise motors by 15% compared to the previous model. The energy consumption is lowered further by the increased hydraulic efficiency of the newly designed diffuser.
The filter basket of the Filtra N pump from KSB has a volume of around 1,330 cm3 and comes with a fold-out handle. The pump's casing is made of corrosion-resistant plastic material and equipped with two screwed plugs to allow draining of the water if there is any danger of freezing.
