Neptune at WEF Residuals and BioSolids 2013

Neptune Chemical Pump Co., it will be exhibiting at the 27 Annual WEF Residuals and BioSolids Conference, being held May 5-8 at the Nashville Convention Center in Nashville, TN, USA.

Twenty years ago, the Environmental Protection Agency issued the 40 CFR Part 503 Biosolids Regulation. This rule describes the beneficial use of residuals and biosolids as sustainable natural resources. Sponsored by the Water Environment Federation in cooperation with the Kentucky-Tennessee Water Association, the conference will explore the development, implementation, operation and maintenance of residuals and biosolids management.

The Series 7000 mechanically actuated diaphragm metering pump is designed specifically for handling water and wastewater applications. Its design eliminates the use on contour plates on the liquid side of the diaphragm, while the straight-through valve and head design allows for improved flow characteristics. The Series 7000 provides superior performance, is self-priming, and has a maximum capacity range up 300 gph (1,135 L/h) at 150 psi.

Neptune will also be exhibiting its PZ Series electronic diaphragm-metering pump, which operates on a manual control that produces speeds ranging from 1 to 300 strokes per minute. A variety of liquid-end materials are available.
