The Wilo Group has officially opened a new subsidiary in Santiago, Chile: Wilo Chile SpA.
“I am proud to have accompanied the history of Wilo in Chile from the very beginning,” said Gustavo Ramos, managing director of Wilo Chile. “Since our market entry in 2015, Wilo has developed into a renowned supplier of highly efficient pumps and pump systems for building services, water management and industry.”
“With the investment in our subsidiary in Chile, we are taking into account the strategic importance of this market,” said Svenja Ahlburg, Wilo Group director sales area Latin America.
“For the current year, we see particularly great growth potential in aquaculture,” added Ramos. “Chile is the second largest producer of farmed salmon in the world after Norway. Here we have a great opportunity to make a contribution to reliable and more energy-efficient salmon production with our Wilo pump solutions.”
