Solving Water, Xylem’s podcast, has started its second series, entitled Through the Water Cycle, which addresses water industry issues such as the shifting economic arena, impacts of Covid-19 and the opportunities for water utilities.

A special three-part programme, Making These Extraordinary Times an Opportunity for Water Utilities, was recorded during the all-virtual WEFTEC 2020 and features Xylem President and CEO Patrick Decker and Al Cho, Xylem vice president and general manager, sharing their perspectives on the significance of strong partnerships and advanced innovation in creating the water utility of the future.

Other instalments feature discussions about unlocking opportunities for resilience in the water utilities sector and Xylem experts reveal how the company is helping institutions and water utilities worldwide use wastewater sampling to track possible future Covid-19 outbreaks. There is also a discussion addressing the escalation of clogging challenges in municipal wastewater treatment plants due to pandemic.

Listeners can stream episode one of the new series now via Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify or wherever they access podcasts.
