As well as a 2/2 way version with a nominal diameter of 0.4 mm, the Flipper solenoid valve is also available as a universal 3/2 way version with a nominal diameter of 0.8 mm.
The Flipper solenoid valve uses an elastomer element which in the 3/2 way valve moves between two opposing valve seats, opening one and closing the other. The common connection can be used as an inlet for distribution to one of the two seats or as an outlet for a mixer function.
