ITT pump diaphragm has acid resistance

The Kalrez diaphragm, provided by DuPont, is made of a class of rubbers in which all bond sites on the elastomer backbone and side chains have a fluorine atom bonded to it. This gives it the chemical resistance of Teflon while still maintaining a rubber-like consistency. The pump is resistant to all types of acids, hydrocarbons, amine inhibitors, glycols, and methanol.

IT-Flojet’s Model G57C air pump also features check valves incorporating O-rings made from Viton Extreme fluoroelastomer. It can supply up to 5.0 GPM (18.9 /min) and the pump’s high air inlet pressure capability delivers fluid at the needed flow and pressure.
