Neptune Series 7000 mechanically actuated diaphragm metering pump.

Neptune Chemical Pump, a manufacturer of chemical metering and peristaltic pumps and part of Pump Solutions Group (PSG), will be exhibiting its metering pump technologies in Booth 12068 at the American Water Works Association’s Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE13). Being held 9-13 June at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO, the annual show is expected to attract more than 500 exhibitors and nearly 10,000 dedicated water professionals. Neptune will be showcasing the Series 7000 mechanically actuated diaphragm metering pump and Series 500 hydraulically actuated metering pump. The mechanical design of the Series 7000 eliminates the use of contour plates on the liquid side of the diaphragm while the simple, straight-through valve and head design allows for improved flow characteristics. The unit is self-priming, provides superior performance, and has a maximum capacity range up to 1,135 L/h (300 gpm) at 150 psi. The Series 500 pumps feature EZE-CLEAN valve cartridges that can be removed for cleaning without disturbing the piping to the pump, and a Variable Oil By-pass stroke adjustment that allows for better valve performance than traditional variable linked designs. Neptune will also be featuring its PZ Series electronic diaphragm metering pump, which is designed for various water treatment applications at flow rates from .01 to 20 gph.
