Located in the coastal state of São Paulo, the new Dry Gas Seal Service Center in Rio Claro builds on the experience of John Crane’s local workforce. It equips the company with the resources to provide additional capabilities of repairing, refurbishing and dynamic testing of dry gas seals. The 1,700m2 facility features state-of-the-art technology and industry-leading resources aimed at supporting customers across Latin America.

The service center handles a wide range of services, including repair, refurbishment, and dynamic testing of dry gas seals. It is able to service the entire installed base of dry gas seals within the region, covering all aspects of size, speed, and pressure.

Equipped with advanced test rigs, the service center allows for full dynamic testing under client-specific operating conditions in a wide range of environments.

The center maintains a climate and temperature-controlled environment, which is subject to continual monitoring, enhancing materials management services by providing storage, conservation, and comprehensive service programs for customers' dry gas seal fleets.

By streamlining processes and improving delivery capabilities, the service center aims to reduce average lead times for returning repaired components.

In addition to dry gas seal services, the service center has extensive local manufacturing capabilities, ensuring rapid responses to urgent requirements.

“The opening of the new Dry Gas Seal Service Center in Rio Claro reflects our leadership in gas compression and our commitment to continuous investment in local capabilities and providing our customers with a higher level of technology and service differentiation,” said Rogerio Quirino, John Crane’s Brazil sales director.
