Sundyne hires general manager for Arvada

Kevin Lance has joined Sundyne as general manager, Arvada.

In this role, Lance will oversee the quoting, procurement, project management, engineering and manufacturing processes for all pumps and compressors produced in Sundyne’s Arvada facility in Colorado. He will be working to accelerate Sundyne’s growth by streamlining every aspect of the company’s processes from order to shipment.

Lance comes to Sundyne from Fluid and Motion Control (a subsidiary of Emerson). For the last 11 years, he has held a variety of roles including VP of Operations and general manager, where he has led all facets of manufacturing operations, with a focus on strengthening supply chains, improving delivery times to customers, optimizing inventory turns and enhancing cash flow.

“Kevin’s diverse background in finance and operations and his proven track record with reputable global companies provides a perfect fit with our needs, and we’re looking forward to working with Kevin to enhance and further streamline our Arvada manufacturing operations,” said Sundyne’s chief operating officer Mark Sefcik.

Lance earned his MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Rochester. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
