Energy Recovery wins desalination orders worth US$1mn

A desalination plant in Bhavanapadu, on the eastern coast of India, will use Energy Recovery’s PX Pressure Exchanger technology and Aquabold pumps.

Meanwhile Veolia Environment has purchased Energy Recovery’s technology for its desalination plant near the southern tip of Ghana. This plant will also uitilize Energy Recovery’s PX Pressure Exchanger technology and Aquabold pumps.

Joey Gay, chief financial officer of Energy Recovery, said: “We are continuing to see steady revenue from small-to-medium sized OEM orders internationally.
