Bodenheim, Germany-based Hilge will expand GEA’s portfolio of high performance sanitary pumps, strengthening its position as a system solutions provider for hygienic and aseptic process environments.
Hilge products will now be marketed under the GEA Hilge brand which will be part of the GEA Hygienic Pumps Business Area, along with GEA Tuchenhagen pumps.
“With the acquisition of Hilge, we can fill technological gaps and continue to complement our product portfolio toward providing complete process steps,” said GEA CEO Jürg Oleas. “As a result, we can offer a greater variety of services to our customers in the future, in particular in the food and beverage industry.”
