New materials provide product line expansion into new markets

It is now available in 316 stainless steel and polypropylene plastic, joining the original aluminum and nickel-plated aluminum offerings.

Developers say the new materials mean the pumps can be applied to a wider range of industries including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and hazardous chemicals.

Most existing Wilden pump users will be able to upgrade to the new materials by purchasing a 316 stainless steel or polypropylene Pro-Flo Shift retrofit kit.

Launched in June 2013, the Wilden Pro-Flo Shift ADS has been designed to offer higher efficiency and greater yield. Fewer moving parts offer simpler maintenance.

It is available with maximum suction lifts to 7.2 metres dry and 9.6 metres wet.

Maximum discharge pressures extend to 8.6 bar, maximum flows to 1056 lpm and maximum solid-handling size to 13 mm.
