“Make in India Week”, an ambitious initiative of the Union government, will be launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Indian corporations – large and small – will be showcasing the potential of design, innovation and sustainability across India's manufacturing sectors in the coming decade.Pune-based manufacturer KBL will display some of its flagship products including the LLC pump, i-NS, i-CM, ROMAK, Solar Pump and API 611 compliant Steam Turbine at hall no. 22, booth no. 17. All the manufacturing facilities at KBL are certified for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, BS OHSAS 18001 and SA8000. In addition, the Kirloskarvadi plant is also certified for N & NPT Stamp. KBL’s corporate office in Pune is certified for ISO 9001 & SA8000.The factories deploy Total Quality Management tools using the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) model. KBL says it is the only pump manufacturing company in India and ninth in the world to be accredited with the N and NPT certification by American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
