Monitran has launched six new product ranges for vibration analysis and machine protection

The 2200 range of sensors from Monitron are designed for vibration analysis. The sensors operate between ±80 g, have a rapid response to shock loading and can withstand forces in excess of 10,000 g. The sensors have isolated AC outputs with sensitivities of 100 mV/g and good bias voltage stability with a typical drift not exceeding 3 mV/ºC, with a bias voltage of 11.6 V.

The 2300 range of sensors comprises dual output devices, with an output proportional to temperature. The 2285 sensors are designed for monitoring velocity. The sensors feature devices with DC outputs proportional to RMS velocity and have a maximum sensitivity of typically 0 to 100 mm/s.

The 2287 sensors have a DC output proportional to acceleration as opposed to velocity. The 2385 and 2387 ranges of sensors add secondary outputs for temperature at an output of 10 mV/ºC.

Andy Anthony, Monitran’s operations director, said: “Monitran is committed to bringing solutions to market that deliver considerable benefits to our customers, and the introduction of six new product ranges is one of our most ambitious launches to date. Greater accuracy, quicker recovery from shock loading, better immunity from electrical noise – these all make our new sensors fit-for-purpose in a variety of applications within several industrial sectors.”
