The event, run and hosted by Cavara Training, is the fourth consecutive conference from Cavendish Engineers, and titled ‘Commercial buildings without a boiler house: The case study for air source heat pumps in London.’
June’s conference is being supported by the Italian manufacturer Climaveneta, Think Energy and Cavendish Engineers’ Steve Allen said: “The air source heat pump technology on display at our conference has never been seen before in the UK market but is used in Italy and throughout Europe so this could be a watershed moment for the industry in this country.
“The EU’s Renewable Energy Directive has targeted an increase of renewable energy to 15% by 2020 but have only achieved 2% to date so it is more important than ever to look for an alternative.”
Ashley Bateson, Head of ACEs sustainability steering group has again agreed to chair the conference.
