Established in 1942, Smedegaard makes circulating pump used in heating systems. The pump company has two production sites, one in Copenhagen, Denmark and the other in Beinwil am See, Switzerland, as well as business locations in the UK and Sweden.
“The take-over aims at securing our building services project business in the areas of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning,” said Dr Wolfgang Schmitt, chairman of the KSB board of management.
KSB will integrate the Smedegaard circulating pumps into its existing product portfolio. The Smedegaard pumps will be part of KSB’s building services pump offering.
