Atlas Copco appoints new VP of Corporate Responsibility

Svingby has worked at NIR, the International Council of Swedish Industry, for the last 13 years. She is currently director of operations, responsible for relations management and developing and communicating the organization’s key methodologies. Svingby is also the chair of the Swedish HIV and Aids Workplace Program (SWHAP), with activities in 11 Sub-Saharan countries.

“Sofia has solid experience from negotiation, project management and networking in some of the world’s most complex contexts,” said Annika Berglund, senior vice president Corporate Communications and Governmental Affairs. “I am confident that her knowledge, insights and networks will be a valuable addition to Atlas Copco and further strengthen our sustainability work.”
