Atlas Copco has acquired CPC Pumps International Inc, a Canadian company that specialises in custom-engineered, process-critical centrifugal pumps for the hydrocarbon industry.

Burlington, Ontario-based CPC Pumps designs, manufactures and services centrifugal pumps mainly for the North American market. The company employs 110 people and had revenues of around SEK385 million (C$56 million) in fiscal 2020.

CPC Pumps is now part of the Gas & Process division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area.

“CPC Pumps is a very good fit because both its technology and market presence correspond well with our existing Gas & Process business,” said Vagner Rego, president of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area. “The acquisition adds complementary assets to our portfolio and strengthens our market position.”
