David Brown opens Kentucky service centre

David Brown, a gear engineering companies specialising in the supply and servicing of gear products in the world, has opened a service centre in Debord, Kentucky, USA.

“The 50,000 sqft assembly and service centre will give customers direct and local access and adds to David Brown’s service offering in the Americas.” said John McCarthy David Brown’s director, energy.

"We are focussed on providing our customers in the Americas with vital local expert gearing support. We will continue to expand across the continent with expectations of putting in another service and assembly facility in the Gulf Coast region specifically for oil and gas customers.” David Brown has developed a global network of operations including manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe, Australasia, Africa, China and sales, service and support from 20 locations across five continents.

David Brown has the capability to manufacture industrial gear products for the Americas through its acquisition of Canadian based Unigear in January 2012. The company also has sales offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Santiago, Chile as well as a purpose built service center Antofagasta, Chile with firm plans to establish several more in the region.
