Bartek Makowiecki has joined ITT Inc as senior vice president of strategy and business development, where he will drive the company’s merger & acquisition (M&A) activity.
Makowiecki comes to ITT from Ingredion, where he was global head of strategy, M&A and venturing. He has also held global strategy and M&A roles, including international assignments, at Owens Corning Corp and Parker-Hannifin Corp.
Makowiecki will report to ITT president and CEO Luca Savi and will be based at the company's global headquarters in White Plains, New York.
“Bartek is an accomplished executive with a proven track record in mergers and acquisitions and portfolio management. His experience greatly benefits ITT, as we look to accelerate our capital deployment strategy,” said Savi.
Makowiecki holds a Master of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Arts in international business and finance from Regent's University in the UK.
