KEPL wins quality control award

ICQCC is an annual convention organised by Asian countries that showcases the best international teams (Quality Circles) in a competition that is assessed by a team of experienced jury members. This year’s theme was “Upgrade Lives through QC Circles”.

The KEPL “Nav-Nirman” (New Creation) team presented an improvement case study on the “Elimination of set-up and adjustment loss on Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)” under the TPM Category.

The KEPL case study demonstrated a systematic approach for problem solving by presenting effective use of problem solving tools and techniques like identification and defining the problem, root cause analysis, selection of permanent solution from various alternatives, implementation, sustenance, horizontal deployment etc. The presentation was concluded with an interactive question and answer session.
