ITT was one of 52 companies from the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut tri-state area, that were recognised for achieving at least 20% female representation on their boards.
The 8-member ITT board includes CEO and president Denise Ramos, and Christina Gold, a former CEO of The Western Union Co.
“At ITT, we know that to create the best possible ideas, solutions, innovations and partnerships, we need to continue to embrace diversity at all levels of our organization,” said Ramos. “We have long had the participation of women on our board of directors and that has contributed to decision-making that helps reflect the diversity of all our stakeholders.”
