The order for Hayward Tyler’s 520 kW glandless motor pumps will be used on two 600 MW supercritical once-through (ASOT) boilers. After market support is provided through Hayward Tyler’s local service facility in Kunshan, near Shanghai. Mark Wood, group commercial director at Hayward Tyler, said: “We are naturally delighted to have secured this order from B&W Beijing. This brings the total of Hayward Tyler pumps sold to China to 468 including 33 that have been re-exported. As the leading supplier of pumps in the region we continue to work with industry leaders to strive for cleaner energy provisions.”
