Hayward Tyler Global Services has placed a full time engineer at the site to supervise the electrical and mechanical overhaul of two Hayward Tyler boiler water circulation pumps.
Kendal Power Station was built between 1982 and 1993 with the first Hayward Tyler boiler water circulation pump installed in 1988. Kendal has three Hayward Tyler boiler water circulation pumps on each installed boiler with a total of 18 pumps installed on the six Kendal units. Each unit has a generating capacity of 686 MW.
