Iberdrola has launched a renewal plan for the existing monitoring systems in their plants. This plan will be implemented gradually and Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas has been contracted to install the vibration monitoring system in three Iberdrola power stations.
Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas has already successfully commissioned and installed the vibration monitoring system in the Lada (Asturias, Spain) and the Pasajes (Guipúzcoa, Spain) power plants. The work primarily consists of cable layout, wiring, commissioning, acceptance testing and, finally, training the Iberdrola staff.
Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas plans to complete the third, and final, step of the project by installing the Protor vibration monitoring system in the Velilla power plant, located in Palencia, Spain.
