The CUP-TWL replaces a current conventional pump and separate turbine.
The pump will be manufactured at the ClydeUnion facility in Glasgow with planned delivery in September 2014.
Mathieu Roussel, ClydeUnion area sales manager, said: “The award of the TWL for the Krško project is a significant achievement for our company and testament to the unique features of the product which makes it an excellent solution of choice for safety related applications in a nuclear power plant. The award is as a result of a collective effort involving sales, tendering, engineering, procurement, legal and facility support from USA, Annecy and Glasgow.”
The project was awarded by the plant operator Nuklearna Elektrarna Krško (NEK).
