Godwin Pumps extends HL series

Godwin Pumps’ HL260M Dri-Prime pump is capable of flow rates up to 4,760 GPM (1,810 m³/h) and heads up to 500 ft (150 m). The 10x8 inch (250x200 mm) HL260M single-stage, automatic self-priming centrifugal pump has a solids handling capability up to 2 inch (50 mm) in diameter. The dry running, double high-pressure oil bath mechanical seal, with abrasion-resistant solid silicon carbide faces enables the pump to run indefinitely without the risk of overheating or failure.

The HL260M is built with a cast iron pump volute, cast chromium steel impeller and nickel chrome cast iron wearplates. Applications for the pump include temporary municipal lift station bypass pumping on high head force mains and high pressure potable water boosting, tunnel shaft dewatering, hydro testing, pipeline pigging and temporary fire systems.

The HL260M Dri-Prime pump is offered with several engine options, including the standard 600 hp Caterpillar C-18 Tier 3 diesel engine. The pump is built with an integrated fuel tank to provide hours of continuous operation. For applications requiring utility power or lower emissions, the HL260M is available with an electric motor configuration and noise-reducing, sound-attenuated enclosure.
