ITT Water & Wastewater awarded £1.2 million contract

The new aeration plant forms part of Thames Water’s £85 million upgrade at Riverside to improve the quality of treated effluent returned to the River Thames and to produce enough renewable energy to power the entire site. The project will run until the end of 2011 and includes full design, supply, installation and delivery.

Duncan Leathley, ITT Water & Wastewater’s general manager - projects, said: “This is the first £1 million plus order for the new projects team and customers are recognising how the collective expertise and knowledge from across ITT can add value to their projects. It is encouraging that this contract has been awarded to ITT Water & Wastewater as part of our current framework agreement.”

ITT Water & Wastewater has four key brands; Flygt, Sanitaire, Wedeco and Leopold. Following the merger in 2008, the projects team was formed in January 2010 to capture this cross divisional knowledge; providing specialist support across the whole business and delivering high quality, cost effective total solutions to its’ customers.
