The ISO 9001:2008 certification applies to Moving Water Industries' production operations, including the design, manufacture and servicing of axial, mixed flow, centrifugal and mobile pumps as well as drill rigs and village water supply units, rebuilds and remanufacturing at the Deerfield Beach facility.
The Deerfield Beach plant has also secured SSPC QP3(SM) certification.
The Society for Protective Coatings' SSPC QP3(SM) certification is a US recognised program that evaluates the practices of shop painting facilities.
“Documenting our processes and having them undergo the independent certification process is our way of demonstrating to our customers MWI’s commitment to ensuring the highest quality and reliability in our pumps,” said Keith Bickford, senior operations manager for Moving Water Industries.
