Singer Valve launches three new Deluge Valves for hazard areas

The three new valves include; the Electronic Operated Deluge Valve, the Pneumatic Operated Remote Control Deluge Valve and the Electric Pneumatic Operated Deluge Valve. These UL approved valves are used in high hazard areas where high velocity suppression is necessary to prevent the spread of fire; such as power plants, aircraft hangers and chemical storage or processing facilities. Deluge systems are connected to a water supply through a valve that is opened by the operation of a smoke or heat detection system. When the system is activated water discharges through all of the sprinkler heads in the system. Pneumatic Deluge Valves are best for potentially explosive environments. Not all fire valves are created equal. Singer Valve says these Deluge Valves are built to last with stainless steel seats and fasteners and are heat fused with a red epoxy coating. Coupled with Singer’s SRD technology these valves are said to last longer than flat diaphragm valves and have more flexibility in sizing.
