The company plans to create one strong Sulzer brand for all dewatering products.
As a result, the Pumpex brand name will be phased out during 2016.
Pumpex products will be branded as Sulzer. Replacement pumps, spare parts and service for Pumpex pumps will all be available through the Sulzer sales organisation.
Pumpex pumps are installed in more than 70 countries.
Founded in 1968, Pumpex has been part of Sulzer since 2011.
