Torishima Pump's operational profit during the first quarter (1 April 2011–30 June 2011) decreased ¥353 million to ¥695 million, while net profit increased by ¥138 million from the same period last year to ¥589 million.
Order backlog at the end of June 2011 was down by ¥9818 million to ¥50 312 million. Orders received by Torishima Pump during the first quarter increased by ¥7808 million from the same period last year to ¥13 798 million.
