This year, Xylem will strengthen its dedicated dewatering rental departments in Paris and Bordeaux. Xylem will launch new dewatering rental services in Brittany, Lille and Toulouse in 2013, and at a number of other French locations in 2014.
Thierry Vasseur, Xylem product manager for dewatering & rental services in France, said: “Xylem’s new dedicated dewatering rental services in France are designed to cater specifically to the needs of local customers. Each rental fleet will be organised so that it aligns with whatever specific services our local customers’ require.” Services will include installation and dismantling, maintenance on site and 24/7 site supervision.
“We are noticing an increased demand within the construction industry for dewatering services to be supplied as a complete package including the pump and water treatment systems, engineering expertise and project management,” said Stefan Swartling, global marketing manager for Xylem’s rental & dewatering services.
With the addition of the Godwin brand in 2010, Xylem now has a rental bank of 16 000 products.
