Svanehøj expands its pump service business with US acquisition

The Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj acquired Complete Cryogenic Services (CCS), a specialist in the service and overhaul of submerged pumps on LNG tankers.

 

Atlas Copco to buy Australian dewatering services provider

Atlas Copco is buying National Pump & Energy (NPE), a business that offers dewatering, environmental services and water treatment solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

NPE provides specialty environmental services and water treatment solutions for large and complex dewatering and sewage bypass projects. Main customer segments include infrastructure construction and municipalities. The company is also specialized in dewatering solutions for mining connected to metals needed in electrification.

 

Krones to acquire Ampco Pumps

German machinery manufacturer Krones Group signed an agreement to acquire 90% of Ampco Pumps Company LLC, a Wisconsin, USA-based supplier of sanitary pumps and applied products like mixing and blending equipment to the food, beverage, dairy processing, personal care and pharmaceuticals markets. The company has been providing centrifugal and positive displacement pumps worldwide for more than 70 years. In 2022, Ampco Pumps generated revenue of approximately US$50 million with a workforce of more than 130 employees.

 

PumpMan buys Colorado Water Well

PumpMan Holdings LLC has completed the acquisition of Colorado Water Well, a pump service and repair company serving the commercial, industrial, water well and residential water and wastewater markets in the greater Denver, Colorado region.

 

Florida Pumping Solutions acquires American Sock & Dewatering

Thompson Pump distributor Florida Pumping Solutions (FPS) is expanding its services with the acquisition of American Sock & Dewatering, a socking company in Northern Florida.

 

Celeros Flow Technology to sell Filtration business

Celeros Flow Technology entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Filtration business unit to the UK-headquartered private equity firm Px3 Partners. When the deal closes, Celeros Flow Technology intends to accelerate the strategic transformation of its flow control solutions, which includes pumps, valves and closures, through reinvestment in the business, its employees, and strategic acquisitions.

 

Wateralia acquires Caprari Trading

Ambienta SGR SpA’s Wateralia platform acquired Italian water pump distributors Linea Ricambi and Bergomi Trading, combined under the name Caprari Trading. Headquartered in Modena, Linea Ricambi has more than 20 years of experience in spare parts and service management for water pumps, while Bergomi Trading is a distributor of Caprari pumps. Caprari Trading is Ambienta’s third acquisition under its buy-and-build platform strategy in the water pumps sector. Ambienta acquired Caprari in February 2021 and Calpeda in July 2022, rebranding the combined group as Wateralia.

 

Xylem acquires Evoqua in US$7.5bn deal

Xylem Inc completed its acquisition of Evoqua Water Technologies Corp in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately US$7.5 billion.

 

KKR to acquire Circor in US$1.6bn deal

Investment firm KKR entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Circor International Inc in an all cash transaction valued at approximately US$1.6 billion, including the assumption of debt. Circor's pump brands include Allweiler, Houttuin, Imo, Tushaco, Warren Pumps and Zenith.

 

Nordson expands into precision agriculture market with ARAG acquisition

Nordson Corp entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Italian agriculture fluid management company ARAG Group in an all-cash transaction valued at €960 million. ARAG makes precision control systems and smart fluid components for agricultural spraying, including pumps.
