Almatec, part of PSG, a Dover company, has now added the new C 40 (1-1/ in) and C 50 (2 in) models to its line of solid C-Series AODD pumps for difficult pumping applications.
Almatec C-Series pumps feature a design that increases bolt torque to improve pump safety and incorporate Almatec’s Perswing P air control system, which, the company says, optimises production rates and lowers energy costs.
The pumps have suction and discharge ports available as separate housing parts with different footprints, allowing them to be efficiently matched to existing installations. C-Series pumps do not have any mechanical seals, drives or rotating parts that cause wear over time and they feature self-priming and dry run capabilities.
The C-Series pump line now consists of five pump sizes, the C 10 (3/8 in), the C 15 (1/2 in), the C 25 (1 in) and now, the C 40 (1-1/2 in) and C 50 (2 in). The wetted housing parts are made of either abrasion-resistant polyethylene or chemically resistant PTFE. For applications in explosive atmospheres, C-Series pumps are available in versions that conform to ATEX requirements.
