Demand from European customers searching for Anchor Pumps products encouraged the brand to specifically target new and potential customers in Cyprus and Malta.
Anchor Pumps launched its first ecommerce store in 2011 and have focused on building the business online. In 2013, the company saw a 300% increase in the number of products sold online via the website year on year.The business also has plans to launch two more websites in 2014, targeting French and German customers as well as future plans for an Australian website in 2015. Anchor Pumps managing director, Warren Holmes commented “E-commerce has provided Anchor Pumps with the platform to grow from a small, local business into an international online retailer in just over three years.”
