The 30 000 sq ft Armstrong Fluid Systems Shanghai facility is the company’s third manufacturing plant in Asia, and ninth globally.
Located just outside Shanghai, the new facility houses manufacturing, assembly and testing for commercial pumps, circuit balancing valves and Flo-Trex valves, along with all aspects of finance, procurement, logistics, field service and commissioning of integrated plant controls.
“Developing our activities in China is an integral part of our global strategy, and we will continue to seek an increased presence in the China market,” said Jim Laidler, director of Far East Sales.
