The UK’s Atlantic Pumps has moved to a new manufacturing and research hub on a 1.25-acre site in Chesterfield.

The hub, which brings together Atlantic Pumps’ Chesterfield and Sheffield operations, will enable the company to increase manufacturing output and house more stock. It will also allow Atlantic Pumps to develop its Audex, SlurryPro, Gromatex and EnviroHub brands.

“This move is very much the next step of our journey in supporting our customers and is vital for maintaining the service levels which have driven our growth,” said Atlantic Pumps managing director Andy Smith. “It enables us to make customers’ lives easier and offer more sound, sensible solutions to pumping challenges in the quarry and recycling industries.”

Atlantic Pumps was founded by Smith in 2013. The company supplies and manufactures industrial pumps and related equipment to industries including quarrying and recycling.

Atlantic Pumps is part of the Intrax Global Group.
