Atlas Copco completes acquisition of Lewa and Geveke

Atlas Copco has acquired Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd for a combined enterprise value of €670 million.

Founded in 1952 and based in Germany, Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and complete metering systems for a wide range of industries. The company has around 1200 employees and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.

Geveke, meanwhile, distributes compressors and engineers advanced and complex process pump installations. Founded in 1874, Geveke is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, employs around 173 people and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.

The acquisition is an all-cash transaction utilizing Atlas Copco’s funds.

The main part of the acquired businesses is now based in the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part in the Service division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
