Sadlowski has been serving as interim CEO of Ceco Environmental since Jeff Lang stepped down earlier this year, and has been a member of the board since May 2016.
“The board, under the leadership of a special search committee and with a nationally recognized executive recruiting firm, conducted a review of both internal and external candidates and determined that Dennis is the best choice for CEO. Ceco is very fortunate to have someone with Dennis’ experience, leadership skills and character. During his tenure as interim CEO, Dennis spent considerable time with the company’s customers, suppliers and employees and has a running start as the permanent CEO to help Ceco achieve its strategic and financial goals, including driving increasing shareholder value,” said Ceco Environmental’s chairman Jason DeZwirek.
Sadlowski, 56, has previously served as CEO of Siemens Energy and Automation, COO of LSG Sky Chefs, and CEO of International Battery. He has also worked at General Electric and Thomas & Betts. Sadlowski earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Nuclear Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Seattle University.
Sadlowski said: “I am very excited to be selected as the permanent CEO. The company, its products and technologies and especially its people are world-class and we have an enormous opportunity ahead of us to generate significant growth for all of our stakeholders. I look forward to continuing to work with the board and the senior leadership team in executing our strategic plans to achieve the success I know we can all realize.”
