Ceco Environmental appoints new chief operating officer

Ramesh Nuggihalli has joined Ceco Environmental Corp as the company’s chief operating officer (COO).

Reporting to Todd Gleason, Ceco Environmental’s chief executive officer, Nuggihalli will drive the execution of the company’s business lines consistent with strategic plans, including optimizing growth in adjacent markets and advancing Ceco’s productivity and efficiencies. Nuggihalli will also be responsible for Ceco Environmental’s global operating businesses and their associated sales, marketing and product development functions.

Nuggihalli most recently worked in private enterprise in the industrial automation market. Prior to this, he served as president and managing director of Greater Asia for Xylem, based in Singapore. Before Xylem, he was based in Dubai and served as managing director of Middle East for Pentair. Earlier in his career, Nuggihalli also held leadership positions at Tyco International, Ametek, General Electric and Babcock & Wilcox.
