The 10 unit contract (nine pumps and one expander) was awarded to Ebara International by Technip, part of the Technip-Samsung consortium which is building the facility for Shell.
The Shell Prelude, which is planned for Australia’s Browse Basin, has expected production of around 5.3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of liquids, including 3.6 mtpa of LNG, 1.3 mtpa of condensate and 0.4 mtpa of LPG.
