The Expulse is designed to reduce noise while settling pressure peaks and ensuring a continuous fluid flow. Flowrox says the product can cut energy consumption by up to 10%, largely as a result of its absorption of up to 90% of pulsations.
It adds the device’s reduction in the hammering of the pipeline and pump can lead to extended operational lifetime for the pump bearing and gearbox, while it prevents the collection of sediment, particles or residue thanks to its built-in self-cleaning operation.
“A shutdown due to a threat to pipe integrity can not only be costly, but hamper the ability to generate revenue for clients who depend on this type of equipment,” said Flowrox president Todd Loudin.
“Our company has designed the Flowrox Expulse to help reduce the chance of pipe damage and breakage in a cost-effective manner.”
