Greene Tweed will exhibit its line of composite pump shells including the WR 650, a PFA/carbon fibre composite designed to replace metallic wear parts in centrifugal pumps and other applications where wear resistance is required.

Also on display will be Chemraz, an FFKM material, which offers extreme chemical resistance with higher temperature ratings of up to 325°C (617°F).

The Xycomp DLF composite containment shell for magnetic couplings will also feature. These pump shells are used in magnetic pumps and mixers employed for the manufacture and treatment of toxic, aggressive, or explosive media as well as refining and chemical applications.

It can replace metal shells to improve performance and efficiency, reduce heat transfer to minimise energy losses and benefits from easy installation and shock and impact resistance.

Greene Tweed will be at Booth 2719 at the Turbomachinery and Pump Symposium 2021 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas from 14-16 December.
