The agreement covers mechanical seals and systems, high-performance couplings and hydrodynamic bearings. A service option has been discussed for a later stage.
A consortium led by Eni SpA manages the Zubair project which has a development target of 850 000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) through to 2035.
