Six of the eight boiler feed pumps will be driven by fixed speed 6000 V electric motors with a 2260 kW drive rating.
The order also includes two stand-by feed pumps driven by two twelve-cylinder MTU diesel engines, each with a 668 kW drive rating. They will keep the power station in operation in the event of a power failure.
The new power station is expected to be completed in 2016.
