New director of service appointed for GIW Industries

Sid Higdon has been promoted to director of service GIW Industries Inc, which is a part of KSB SupremeServ.

Higdon will oversee the growing service business and centers in Mulberry, Florida USA; Thomson, Georgia USA; and Ft McMurray, Canada.

"Sid Higdon brings 26 years of experience in various capacities, tremendous technical skills, and a practical customer-centric approach to service," said Jonathan Samuel, president and CEO of GIW Industries Inc & vice president of KSB Mining. "He's extremely knowledgeable in mining and other pump application areas for KSB, which make him perfect for this role."

Higdon most recently held the role of general manager of the KSB SupremeServ Thomson, Georgia service center and has held various supervisory and engineering positions within GIW since 2011. He began his career as a CNC machinist and developed into a team lead and programmer. Higdon is a distinguished International Service Academy graduate, a KSB two-year focused program limited to select candidates worldwide.
